The foundation company Al Aqili Trading was formulated in 1976. This company spawned into the Al Aqili Group with myriad of divisions and activities.

The Al Aqili Group LLC was established in 1993 as a holding company to create a vehicle for the expansion of activities beyond the specialist areas and activities of our foundation company - Al Aqili Trading Company. It has enabled us to explore opportunities in a varitey of fields, utilizing our "empowerment" model to launch new companies that can successfully and profitably stand alone, while leveraging the resources and advantages that being part of the larger Al Aqili Group provides.
